AUTOMATIC CURTAIN OPENER AND CLOSER

Abstract

Curtain is a piece of cloth hang in the front of windows intended to control light. A curtain is opened in the morning to allow light from outside to enter the room, also it is closed in the evening to block light from escaping outside the room. Currently opening and closing of curtain at our homes is done manually which lead to destruction of hangers and hookers. The main objective of the project was to enable opening and closing of curtain automatically by pressing a remote. To achieve this objective different methods were followed including Literature review, data collection, data analysis, designing of circuits, circuit simulation, building prototype, testing the circuit/system and followed by writing a report. So far all the methods to be followed have been completed. The proposed system will reduce destruction of hangers and hookers used to hang a curtain on the window, it will reduce wastage of time and will also provide your home an occupied appearance.
