TOUCH SWITCH

Abstract

Switch is an electrical or electronic device for making and breaking electrical contact, the mechanism of a switch can be operated by human operator to control the circuit. Switch it is of more important since it used in Domestic application and Industrial application for switching and controlling electrical device. Due to the various problems facing switch like wear out and worn out of a switch level due to the switching process since it involve force during flicking process. Touch switch is a kind of switch that will eliminate or remove the problem facing ganged switches since it is only operated by human touch which does not require or need too much force to operate it. This project has been conducted in order to solve that problem of wear out and worn out of a level of regular switches (gangs). This project explained more about proposed system, its construction, operation, data collection, data analysis, simulation and prototype testing as well as discussion of the project result
