dc.description.abstract For new drivers, short sighted and old people, they face the challenges of driving and mostly parking due to difficulties to judge the distance while parking the cars. Also during traffic jam most people car’s crush due to closeness of cars in traffic jam especially Dar es Salaam this problem can be solved by a proposed circuit of this project. In the designed system there are two parts; transmitter and receiver, Transmitter consist 555 timer IC( astable multivibrator ) which generates and transmit frequency, when this frequency is blocked by an object it will be reflected back on a receiver. The voltage drop on the receiver is amplified by op-amp and the distance between car and obstacle is understood by a group of three LED’S; green LED means close, yellow LED means very close, red LED means almost in contact. The designing process will be done through Literature review, Consultation and data collections, Circuit design, Interfacing of the system, Circuit prototype implementation and testing. en_US
