dc.description.abstract | The main purpose of this project is to provide electronic circuit that will be used to control dustbin door that will open automatically when somebody comes near it and will close automatically when somebody gets away from it. Through research and literature review I have found that the existing dustbins commonly used have to be opened manually so they do not give good environment to use for those disabled people who lost one of their hands or feet. This is going to be a solution for this problem. The circuit will use IR sensors to sense presence of somebody near the dustbin and through timer circuit will automatically open the dustbin ready to throw rubbish. Also through timer when somebody gets away from dustbin the circuit will automatically close the dustbin preventing rubbish contaminations to spread in environment. This circuit will be helpful not only to disabled people but to those people from transmitted diseases since there will be no need for everybody to touch the dustbin door. Since we know that if everybody will be touching the dustbin door some can leave some contaminations and viruses, so it is easy to be adopted to another body, so this project is going to be solution to that. | en_US |
