12V DC TO (220-240)V AC INVERTER FOR DOMESTIC USES

Abstract

This project aims to construct an inverter circuit that will help to provide AC voltage from DC voltage source.The circuit will convert 12V DC to (220V-240V) AC for domestic purposes. The system has been constructed to solve the problem of AC source for domestic elecronics and electrical appliances applications in places where it is not possible to get Ac supply from mains especially in rural areas. Inorder to successfully accomplish the project, various stages were involved such as literature review whereby various sources of knowledge and useful ideas such as books were gone through, this helped in bringing the project so far. All the data that were needed for accomplishment of this project were collected and analysed correctly. This report consists of the two parts of the project,it has part one that consists of literature review, data analysis and data collection and part two of the project which consists the circuit designing, circuit simulation, circuit testing, implementations and building prototype. iii
