6 -12 VOLTS ADJUSTABLE POWER SUPPLY

Abstract

This project aims to construct a 6-12volt adjustable power supply that will help in most Electronics laboratories to save cost and wastage of time. As we know unregulated power supplies or sometimes called fixed power supplies are power supplies with small range of the output voltages compared to the circuit mention above and this where the idea comes up since most of the electronics laboratories use those unregulated power supplies which turns out to be major problem in most electronics laboratories especially when various of output voltages are needed to perform various task at the different time in the same electronics laboratory.forexample when 7v is needed as the input voltage in a certain circuit and after that may be 11v is needed to perform another task as the input voltage, so for electronics laboratories power supplies may be they can produce a range 0v to 7v so this power supplies can be able to perform the first task where 7v is needed as the input but they can’t be used as input voltage to perform the second task, thus is where the idea of designing the circuit which called 6v to 12v DC adjustable power supply comes up.
