ALARM SYSTEM FOR AVAILABILITY OF WATER TAP

Abstract

Alarm system for availability of domestic tap water is the simple electronic circuit that helped to alert the users’ availability of domestic water taps as soon as company like DAWASCO start to supply water to their area. Two probe will be inserted to the tap of water since the water was good conductor of electricity so the alarm will be heard when the water touch the two probe of wire, that are inserted on it.After inserted this signal sent to the astable multivibrator that operated at frequency of 1 kHz, the output pin 3 from multivibrator connected to the speaker. Then when the water flew and the speaker started to give out the sound this taken as assumption that water available to the tap and ready to be used by the users. Due to the wastage of water as the problem mostly occur when people tried to left their tap open in order to know the availability of water, that problem will be minimized to the society also wastage of time to wait water to the area without knew when this water will be available to the given area was solved.Also the proposed system was designed as the simple circuit that included switching sensing part, astable multivibrator and power. These were combined to give the complete circuit. There were different method used to solve this problem such as literature review, data collection, data analysis and simulation to test the work of the circuit in circuit wizard as the program to test in computer.
